About Casting byNuray Kurşun

Casting Director and mother agent Nuray Kurşun was trained to see the world from an in-between point of view. Being brought up between two cultures herself, she experienced that strength lies in variety not similarity. During her studies at Willem de Kooning Academy, she organized her own club nights for many years. Her eye for distinctive faces and her urge to bring people together set the foundation for the years to come.

Continuously building a bridge between traditional casting through model and acting agencies, mixing this with street- and online casting, the proposals result in a unique and personal mix. Tailor made for each and every project, in close collaboration with the director or photographer. Working intuitively, she combines her love for people, branding and visuality. Over the past years she gained experience in casting for global campaigns for international brands. Her work ethic involves striving for a better representation of society, where both the client and talent’s needs meet each other.

Nuray is currently based in Rotterdam and Berlin, working internationally. Allowing the realness of the two cities to inspire. Casting by Nuray consists of a small team of like minded people, providing a broad network of authentic individuals together.
